In this exciting position you will be responsible for functional safety concepts for complete automotive architectures for pre-development programs and serial production programs
Tasks:
Requesting functional safety documentation from the project team
Monitoring the implementation of ISO26262 requirements in the project
Definition of the required scope of activities for documentation, verification, and validation of functional safety in the project
Evaluation and release of the product functional safety or definition of measures to achieve release
Escalation of safety risks to the site responsible for functional safety
Initiating of the functional safety life cycle
Ensuring that the planned and prescribed activities and tools are carried out and used correctly and completely
Support of the project team in the preparation of the technical technical safety concept
Participation in customer meetings, professional mediation be-tween the project team and the persons responsible for functional safety at the customer
Support of the project team in the development of the verification and validation concept regarding functional safety
Regular reporting of the project status regarding functional safety to the project manager and assembly line responsible as well as the group manager ZKW
Escalation of problems that cannot be solved in the project to the functional safety manager (RD-025 Functional Safety Man-ager)
Contact person in the project team regarding the implementation of safety-related requirements
Approval/rejection of work products regarding functional safety
Creation and maintenance of the functional safety aspects in the Development Interface Agreement (DIA) with the customer and the supplier
Carrying out reviews
Qualifications:
Technical university completion
Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 26262, VDA 6.3, QS 9000 quality standards
Knowledge of quality instruments (FMEA, FTA, Hazard – Ana-lyze)
Knowledge about product development process
Very good understanding of the system (product)
Knowledge of English – level B2, German – advantage
In-depth knowledge of the automotive supply industry
Knowledge in quality management and quality tools
