As a global corporate group<\/strong> with an international production and purchasing\u00a0network, we consider fulfilling\u00a0our responsibilities in the areas of quality,\u00a0business ethics, resource management,\u00a0environmental protection, health and occupational safety as well as social\u00a0considerations is an essential part of our activities. We also believe, we need to establish requirements to meet\u00a0these demands in our supply chain.
\nBy proactively managing<\/strong> our environmental impacts and continuously\u00a0reducing our resource consumption,\u00a0we are pursuing our goal of reducing the ecological footprint of our products\u00a0throughout their life cycle. Preventive actions and thus a minimizing of\u00a0risks for employees ensures a safe and healthy work environment. These factors\u00a0in turn increase the quality of our products.
\nA constant flow of information\u00a0<\/strong>and a motivated, safe and healthy work\u00a0environment anchor these considerations in the minds of our employees. We\u00a0have their commitment and collaboration\u00a0to thank for ensuring ZKW has\u00a0been able to establish processes with\u00a0results that go far beyond statutory requirements.
\nDepending on our locations\u2019 requirements,\u00a0<\/strong>management system standards\u00a0ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001\u00a0and ISO 45001 are implemented or\u00a0certified in part or in their entirety.
\nWith this awareness, we have\u00a0expanded our concept of quality:<\/strong> We only call a product high quality if it is produced as responsibly as possible\u00a0by using innovative processes and by\u00a0taking into account all work and safety\u00a0aspects.
\nAs a global player<\/strong>, however, the issue of social responsibility is becoming more and more a focus in our company\u00a0\u2013 including in our supply chain. At ZKW, it is fundamentally important\u00a0to us that all of our partners in our procurement network accept their social

As an international company, ZKW has the obligation and the self-image to act responsibly and lawfully. We are aware of our responsibility and take it very seriously. The reputation and trust given to the business by customers, employees and business partners can be damaged by inappropriate behavior. For this reason, ZKW has developed a Code of Conduct, which describes the principles on which all ZKW employees work in daily dealings with each other, with customers and business partners.
