Process Engineer Moulding

Main Goal:

In this challenging position, you will be responsible for the definition and ongoing optimization of manufacturing processes for plastic injection molding production. Considering the existing and required resources to ensure cost-effective, high quality product manufacturing

Tareas:

Production and process planning, as a basis for integrating new products into production.
Definition of injection molding process parameters and supervision of Try-out production
Launch coordination
Process development, technology engineering, integration management and production support
Process integration of procedures and products into production.
Cause analysis and problem solving for problems during production
Collaboration in creating, reviewing, changing and managing the process and product-related documents for production
Participation in the test planning and documentation
Supporting the execution of capacity analysis, interpretation of test results, failure analysis.
Machine design, process and material flow planning, layout and operating resources planning, preparation of RFQ documents for machines and operation material, logistics analysis and conceptions for facilities and operating equipment, benchmarking and monitoring of manufacturing processes
Integration of production machinery and logistics processes in existing or new work structures, taking account of the parent plant development concept with the aim to achieve a cross-functional, process-oriented chain optimum
Selection and development of injection outsourcing and start up and release at outsourcing site

Calificaciones:

University degree, preferably technical degree (plastic or material engineering)
>5 years’ experience in the process of injection molding plastics (PPT/PE/PC/PP + 30% glass fiber)
Very good knowledge in scientific injection molding (sampling of new or relocated molds)
Excellent knowledge about Injection Molding Machines and Peripheral Equipment (Dryer, Temperature Control Unit). Preferred range of 50-2000 tons (Company Engel).
Experience in automotive industry (ISO / IATF / TS / VDA6.3)
Basic Knowledge Core Tools (AMEF / Control Plan / SPC / MSA / APQP / PPAP)
Structured way of problem solving
Experience with managing of suppliers / customers (automotive preferred)
Good administrative / documentation knowledge
Flexibility of working hours / location (supplier side)
