Design Engineer

Main Goal

In this challenging position you will be responsible of design of Front Lamp System using CAD graphic systems and ensure the internal and customer requirements are met for optimized item-design, fit and function within cost, time and expected quality.

Tareas:

Establish the design and documentation of components/systems for Front Lamp Systems: Prototypes, new parts and assemblies, changes on parts, test fixtures.
Conduct research, develop and implement ideas to ensure that the manufacturing, fit and function of the components/systems meet ZKW and customer’s requirements.
Creation of CAD models meeting ZKW and customer standards
Manage the CAD data in the PDM system (parts and structures)
Exchange CAD data with internal customers and suppliers
Coordinate required CAE to valid designs

Calificaciones:

Engineering degree
English
Proficient in use of CATIA V5/NX Siemens
Knowledge of PDM system (Team center)
Mechanical and thermic knowledge of plastic systems
Tolerance analysis calculation, for parts and assemblies (GD&T)
Good understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly methods for plastic components.
D-FMEA knowledge
2 years in CAD design , plastic parts preferred.
Experience in automotive industry
