Electronics Integration Engineer

Main Goal

In this challenging position, you will create the Electronic Architecture design, technical specification of EE-components and coordination of suppliers in technical matters, as well as integration of EE-components

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation of electric and electronic (EE) system requirements and deriving an electrical system (Block diagram), as well as creation of requirement and requirement specifications for the deduced EE-components.
  • Assessment of the technical offers from suppliers.
  • Clarification of requirements with customers and suppliers, as well as coordination of suppliers.
  • Integration of EE-components and creation of calibration data.
  • Verification of the electric and electronic system.
  • LED selection and generation of the thermal cooling concept for LED applications.
  • Generation of rest-off bus simulations for verification and validation.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of electric, electronic and software design & integration of headlamps
  • Basic knowledge of optical, mechanical and thermal design.
  • Technical BS (Electrical or Mechatronic engineering).
  • Work experience in similar function 2-3 years in related electrical/electronic design field
  • Experience in other automotive companies.
  • Knowledge of standards (general standards, electrical standards and validation standards, etc.).
  • Knowledge of bus systems (CAN, LIN).
  • Knowledge of electronic manufacturing.
  • Knowledge in LED applications.
  • MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Proficient communications in English (Spoken, written. German is a plus).
