Incoming Inspection Engineer

Main Goal:

In this challenging position you will be responsible of ensure the quality of purchased parts; guarantee that supplier procedures and processes are adhered to ZKW and customer requirements

Responsibilities:

Work with purchasing to ensure supplier performance, validate control circles of C suppliers.
Claim creation and follow-up until closure.
8D approvals; validate corrective actions with suppliers.
Perform supplier visits due to open claims or quality performance.
Define material disposition of material available in quarantine fence.
Review and approve supplier PPAP’s in regards of engineering changes and PPAP requalification.
Assembly line support for purchased parts issues.

Qualifications:

Engineering degree (Mechatronic, industrial, electronic) or equivalent.
Work experience: 3 years of experience in automotive industry like Supplier quality engineer or equivalent (minimum).
Problem solving methods (Kaizen, DMAIC, PDCA, 8 Disciplines, …).
Root cause analysis tool (Ishikawa, 5 Why, 3L5W, FMEA, …).
Core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, PC, SPC and MSA).
Logical and analytical thinking.
Conflict management, customer focus.
Intermediate English level.
