In this exciting position you are main responsible for the lead optical engineering part in customer projects in our new ZKW Engineering Office in Olomouc, Czech Republic.
Tasks:
Leading a small optical project team focused on the development of lighting relevant parts in compliance with best practices, guidelines and rules of the lighting engineering department
Presentation of your team work to the customer during technical meetings
Supporting, mentoring optical engineers in your project team ensuring meeting technical, legal and internal requirements
Planning and coordinating optical tasks in your project team according to the given timing
Development based on advanced optical software and worldwide cooperation with company experts
Verification of optical designs through light simulation and analysis of lighting prototypes
Active participation on prototype/serial samples testing and evaluation in internal ZKW or automotive manufacturer’s site
Support the entire development process of your project up to its serial production
Qualifications:
Technical/University degree in optics, physics, mathematics or mechanical engineering or several years of experience in the automotive/lighting sector
Strong customer orientation focus
Good technical knowledge of actual automotive trends
Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate in English on a daily basis
