Simulation Engineer FEM

In this position you will carry out structural simulations for development of automotive lighting systems. In addition, you support internal research projects and actively work on improvement of our products.

Tasks:

Feasibility check of structural concepts for lamps
Defeaturing and meshing
Model setup and structural simulation
Optimization of single parts and assemblies
Evaluation, interpretation and summary of simulation results
Derivation of proposals improve structural design
Participation in development of new products and processes
Collaboration in global development teams

Qualifications:

University degree in mechanical engineering or comparable fields
Professional experience is beneficial
Technical understanding
Knowledge in usage of FEM-Software (Altair) and fatigue solver desired
Teamplayer
Good English skills
German skills are beneficial
Cost awareness and ability to work independently
