In this exciting position, you will work in the new ZKW Engineering Office in Olomouc and contribute to the implementation of our projects.

Develop applications for authoring systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness for designers working (i.e. M-CAD and E-CAD, apps, scripts,…)
Development/Deployment of software using DevOps principals
Integrate authoring software into PLM Backbone.
Development of Test (Unit-Tests, Integration-Tests, Component-Tests …)
Elaborate HW/SW requirements for Laptops and PC´s to smoothly operate our CAD systems
CAD Performance testing in case of changes by i.e. operating system change, new drivers, …
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software development, IT, and design departments to ensure successful implementation of authoring software systems and applications and to provide technical support
Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for more efficient and effective use of authoring software.
Provide training to trainers on the use of authoring software applications and systems.
2nd level support for the solutions in scope and training of key users.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
Strong background in software development and engineering.
Experience in developing and implementing authoring software applications and systems in a PLM environment.
Good knowledge in state-of-the-art software development i.e. DevOps
Solid understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems, authoring software, and internal CAD systems such as NX and CATIA.
Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python 3, VBA, VB.net or similar.
General knowledge of design engineering methods
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
