Optical Engineer

In this exciting position you are responsible for development of headlights and optical headlight components on projects in our new ZKW Engineering Office in Olomouc, Czech Republic.

Your responsibilities:

  • Optical design and/or simulation using subject-specific simulation, calculation and CAD programs.
  • Supporting or contributing to the development of calculation and simu-lation programs for the development of light components.
  • Coordination of lighting topics within responsibility up to the finished product in the context of industrialization.
  • Alignment and coordination with project teams, customer and supplier on lighting relevant topics.

Who are we looking for?

  • Technical/University degree (technical / scientific field of study such as: mathematics, physics, mechanical engineering, electronics, communications engineering, mechatronics …)
  • Good technical knowledge of actual automotive trends
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate in English on a daily basis
