Wieselburg, 6/20/2018. Two new awards for ZKW confirm the extraordinary achievement in terms of delivery reliability and product quality of the lighting and electronics specialist. Subsequently, ZKW Group, together with the company SYMA-SYSTEM GmbH, was awarded the Lower Austrian advertising award “Golden Rooster” (Goldener Hahn). SYMA supported the concept and was responsible for co-planning the booth at the largest automobile trade fair (IAA).
GM award for ZKW Lichtsysteme GmbH
In mid-March, ZKW Lichtsysteme, based in Wieselburg in Lower Austria, received GM’s highest award for delivery reliability and was delighted to receive the Platinum Certificate, which is only granted to those GM suppliers who have adhered 100% to the delivery schedule in all months of the year. The Platinum Award is thus the highest achievable award from GM. The award pertains to all services provided in 2017.
Ford World Excellence Award goes to ZKW
Furthermore, ZKW received another award in May: Ford honored ZKW in the course of the 20th World Excellence Awards in the category “Lincoln Luxury.” The Ford World Excellence Award recognizes companies that exceed expectations and deliver the highest levels of excellence in quality, delivery, value, and innovation. Ford considers suppliers like ZKW the key to success in terms of becoming the world’s most reliable mobility company. “For many years, ZKW has been focusing on timely deliveries and premium services in terms of quality and innovation – thus, we are all the more delighted about this award and the recognition of our extraordinary achievements,” said Oliver Schubert, CEO of ZKW Group GmbH.
“Golden Rooster” for best booth
On June 12, 2018, the “Golden Roosters” were awarded to Lower Austrian creative agencies and their clients at Casino Baden at this year’s promotional gala. Together with ZKW, SYMA-SYSTEMS was pleased to receive the coveted “Golden Rooster” in the category POS/trade fair architecture. ZKW commissioned SYMA to design and plan the 162m2 exhibition stand for IAA 2017 (International Motor Show) in Frankfurt am Main. The challenge for the SYMA design team was to coordinate the regular functions of the exhibition stand with the innovative requirements of the lighting specialist. ZKW presented the future of lighting technology in the automotive sector and attached great importance to giving the developments sufficient space and effect. Accordingly, the idea was born to build an interactive “pure light space” in the heart of the exhibition stand and therefore make the technologies of the future tangible and interactive for visitors. The booth, a co-production of ZKW, SYMA and Responsive Spaces, became an IAA highlight for the international press and trade visitors.
