Hermann Seitz takes over management of ZKW Lichtsysteme GmbH with locations in Wieselburg and Wiener Neustadt

On September 1, Hermann Seitz (56) will take over the position of General Plant Manager at ZKW Lichtsysteme GmbH. He succeeds COO Andreas Nix, who most recently held this position. Seitz can look back on a wealth of industry experience and has already held several positions at ZKW – including General Plant Manager of the ZKW electronics plant in Wiener Neustadt. “I am looking forward to taking on this responsible role and contributing to the success of the ZKW Group. My goal is to drive forward the economic development of ZKW Lichtsysteme GmbH with its sites in Wieselburg and Wiener Neustadt through continuous improvements in all areas and to secure this in the long term. Solution-oriented and unselfish cooperation as a team that is prepared to go the extra mile with and for each other is essential for me, and the active demonstration of these values by me and all managers is a must.”

Seitz held various positions at ZKW in Wieselburg, including Group Vice President Manufacturing Process Engineering and Group Vice President Operations Supply Chain Management. The manager also gained valuable experience at ZKW Elektronik in Wiener Neustadt as Director Operations and Vice President General Plant Manager. Due to his many years as Site Manager of ZKW Elektronik GmbH and GVP Group Manufacturing Process Engineering, he has in-depth organizational knowledge of the ZKW Group. Before joining ZKW, Seitz worked for 23 years at Modine, a global supplier of heat exchangers for automotive, truck and off-highway applications, in various management functions, where he was responsible for operational plant management, process pre-development, manufacturing engineering, new plant construction and the comprehensive application of a LEAN program.
“With Hermann Seitz, we have gained a ZKW expert and industry professional for the position of General Plant Manager. Together with him and the entire management as well as our dedicated team, we will continue ZKW’s success story,” says Dr. Wilhelm Steger, CEO of ZKW Group GmbH.
