R&D personnel change: Harald Humenberger takes over R&D following the departure of Christian Amsel
Christian Amsel has decided to leave ZKW for personal reasons. He would like to thank his colleagues for their cooperation and the trust placed in him by customers and partners. An orderly transition has been ensured; he will be available for a seamless handover until his departure.
Harald Humenberger, an experienced manager who is well established in the customer network, is taking over responsibility for the division as Senior Vice President Research & Development. Mr. Humenberger has more than 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. In recent years, he has held various management positions at MAGNA, ranging from the development of energy storage systems to the development of entire vehicles on behalf of customers.
During his interim management of ZKW’s R&D division, he already placed a clear focus on innovation and strengthening competitiveness during the realignment. As Senior Vice President, he is fully involved in all essential strategic and entrepreneurial decisions. In his new role, Mr. Humenberger will be close to the customer and thus to the operational business, while continuing to place a strong focus on strategy and innovative products and processes.
