ZKW Has a New Group Vice President of Sales

Dipl. Ing. (FH) Joachim Amrhein (52) is the new President of Sales at the ZKW Group. The trained plastics engineer worked most recently as a Business Unit Manager for BMW at Alpine Electronics, as well as serving as the Vice President for Sales & Marketing. “With 25 years of experience in automotive plastics, chassis, and electronics areas in different international companies, I’m convinced I can make a major contribution to the continued profitable growth and the further development of the global sales organization,” Joachim Amrhein explains.

The international sales organization of the ZKW Group is getting new reinforcements. Dipl. Ing. (FH) Joachim Amrhein is succeeding Dipl. Ing. (FH) Thomas Meisinger, who was previously responsible for the agendas of the Vice President of Sales. The duties of the automotive experts include coordinating and redirecting international sales activities – not only in Europe, but also in the NAFTA and Asian-Pacific regions. “The goal is to further innovations in our different sales markets and win new customer projects” Joachim Amrhein says.

After studying plastics engineering, Amrhein served in a wide range of positions with development and sales responsibilities, including as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Alpine Electronics over the past four years. He previously spent ten years as Director Sales & Marketing directing growth in the front end module business at HBPO.
